The well-known John Lennon quote “I grew up in Liverpool but I came of age in Hamburg” puts the situation in a nutshell. With interruptions The Beatles spent nearly two years in Hamburg St. Pauli. This press trip follows their footsteps, tracing the places, people, events and presents the still exciting quarter around the famous Reeperbahn. On the occasion of the Beatles Show “The Rock`N`Roll Circus performs Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band” and the upcoming opening of the BEATLEMANIA exhibition we would like to invite you to a press trip on the tracks of The Beatles through Hamburg St. Pauli, the most exciting and biggest amusement quarter in Northern Europe. From January 21st to 23rd you´ll experience the opening night of the new show (including a showcase of Bill Wyman`s Rhythm Kings, www.rocknroll-circus.de), you´ll be the first international journalists at the BEATLEMANIA World next to the just opened Beatles Square (www.beatlemania-hamburg.com), you´ll get an insight view to Europe´s biggest amusement quarter Reeperbahn with its lively and well known music scene and you´ll get the possibility to enjoy one of the best and most spectacular hotels in Northern Europe, the “Empire Riverside Hotel” located between the river Elbe and in St. Pauli (www.empire-riverside.de).
